Basic Info Bioi'm a translation studies post-grad student at Concordia University in Montreal. i have an honours degree in translation with a minor in literature from the Université de Sherbrooke. Before that, i had a 4 year thing where i studied computer programming, but i kinda dropped out. i actually liked debugging.
i'm from New Brunswick. east coast, represent, etc.
i'm kind of a gamer. i like music. like nine inch nails, marilyn manson, tool, refused, moist, radiohead, groovy ardvaark... etc. should i be listing bands here or down there in the Interests part? how would people know for sure they're bands tho? i mean, if i say "bush" people could think i was a fan of duhbya and not the band. speaking of bush, gavin writes some of the best lyrics in all of music, if you want my opinion. too bad their sound is a bit dull at times. i like 'em anyway.
can one be completely blasé of everything and still become interested by perfectly simple things?
did i mention i like NIN?
there's alot of writing on here. not just journal entries, but, you know, Writing. attempts at being literary. anyway, all that stuff is © 2001-2009 to me. just so we're clear.
I like how the instructions for the "Interests" prompt have grammar hints in them.
I always think i should put more stuff in here, but it's hard. because, i mean, what can you really say that would interest people? it's like some random person asking you "who are you?" what do you answer to that? (i would probably tend to say "just some guy", actually. maybe it's not such a hard question?) But all in all, I think I would like for people to describe me as "a weapon for science." haha! I got that from an interview with a religious fundy mormon type, who seemed to think that it was an insult. Odd.
also, who the hell writes a bio thing with more questions in it than answers?
