Whuffle has food poisoning Instead of enjoying her day off yesterday, Whuffle spent the day ill. When I got home I had to head back out again to pick up the prescription strength anti-nausea medication the doctor had prescribed for her. Last night was supposed to be a fury of activity to get things ready for my family coming over on Christmas. That didn't go as planned. I got some things done, but I spent a good deal of time hovering outside of Whuffle's eyesight so I could keep tabs on her well being without disturbing her.
Fortunately, Caleb was already spending the night with his Grandparents, so we had the house to ourselves last night. Her parents are bringing Caleb over later today and will be sticking around if she needs help or wants the company.
“It's 8:00. I should be arriving at Harvard Square so that Caleb and I can head off to Daycare instead however we're not at JFK U Mass why because the red line train has been stopped. They just read an announcement telling us that they're gonna eventually gonna be able to get us to JFK Mass but we're gonna have to get off and wait for the next train. So yeah MBTA it sucks. Anyone know of any good parking options in Harvard Square.”
Just an FYI Regarding the bit in Scots-Gaelic: Càite or "Càit" is not "Kate", as I've seen a few guess so far.
The line is repeated in English when Jeremy's on the beach. There's no important information in Scots-Gaelic that isn't delivered in English, we promise.
Episode 20 is live!
This one might take a little longer to load, so make yourself a cup of tea while it's loading. I upped the image quality since the episode is so dark, so it's a bigger file than usual.
Just in time for Christmas! Nice!

Good things While I was home sick Monday, Caleb gave me a very pleasant wakeup. I was cuddling him while Whuffle showered and he was squirming quite a bit as he tried to nuzzle his face further and further into the pillow. I said "You know, you have to lie still to sleep."
He pushed himself up by his arms, looked at me with a sleepy grin and said "Naaaap." He then plopped face first onto the pillow.
After a few minutes he started tossing and turning a bit. Occasionally he would push himself up, look over me at the alarm clock and sigh heavily or groan miserably. I was quite amused that he'd picked up this particular habit of Whuffle and mine's.
I'm back at work today but with little to no voice.
Obama to move Christmas! (NOT!) I thought this was a silly, clever joke, making fun of the people who are still convinced that Obama is a secret Muslim who was born in Kenya:
Sadly, there appear to be people who actually take it seriously.
this is what happens when america "drinks the punch" and just give the presidency to the first person who inspires them!!! is this the kind of "hope" and "change" the liberals idiots REALLY wanted? i dont think he has the authority to move OUR holiday beacause he's not OUR president consitering HE WAS BORN IN INDONISIA AND WENT TO A TERRORIST SCHOOL!!!! what has our country come to....disgraceful....
my 'Hajimari' solo show opened last night at Jonathan Levine Gallery in NY. Thankyou to everyone who came out! it was a pleasure meeting all of you. i thankyou so much for such a wonderful night! :D
Recovery is progressing Today, I managed to stay awake for a whole four hours before I needed a nap!
I was all excited to get the grocery shopping done. I made my list, checked it twice and was about to put my shoes on when I realized I needed to sit down for "just a minute."
Two and a half hours later I awoke and noticed the TV was still on the Discovery channel. Dirty Jobs was on, and the host was taking on the job of "Shark bite suit tester." This explained the dream I'd been having. I got up, made it to the grocery store and needed to cross the store about eight times as I kept spacing out on the items on the list. Fortunately the frozen goods survived the 20 minute nap I took in the car before driving home.
I have one bunny cage left to clean.
I'm calling in sick Monday. If I can't stay awake for more than a few hours I don't see much point in hauling my arse to the office. I'll be useless, likely contagious and an annoyance to anyone who tried to talk to me. I'd also be unable to do any phone support, as my voice can handle about 5 minutes of conversation before it disintegrates into a gravely, inaudible mess.
On the bright side, there's noting going on that I'm specifically needed for, so I can be gone for a day without it causing any major problems.
Suck I SHOULD be having a date night with Wuffle tonight.
Instead I'm home alone with a cold. Whuffle and Caleb having left to spend the night with her family to give me time alone to get better.
Accomplishments for Saturday:
Waking up (eventually) Watching an episode of MST3K Giving some bunnies out time. Cleaning some of the bunny cages. Staying medicated. Eating meals (Chinese leftovers and corn flakes, but not in the same meal.) Feeding bunnies (Although I did need to take a nap between the pellet and hay courses.) This post.
Laundry and dishes are on the schedule for Sunday.
I really would like my sinuses and my energy back. The cosmos can have the full body joint and neck pain. I'm done with them.
